This month, get ready for a new record from Louisiana-based sludge metal band Romasa; it’s called Insufferable Cave Of Rotting Aspiration and it will satisfy hardcore metal fans.

Each of the three tracks on this EP have their own unique sound. The title track is a powerful opening song for the EP. Combining groovy beats, raw expression, and primitive vocals, this song is a bomb filled with energy. The second track, “Loosen Untie Solve,” however, will throw listeners into a relaxing psychedelic-rock acid trip. This pace is broken by the last track, “Formulaic Decay,” with its heavy and brutal take on ’90s death metal with the influence from Morbid Angel’s style ending the EP on the heaviest note.

Insufferable Cave Of Rotting Aspiration EP is one of the most interesting releases for metal fans to rock out to, loudly, for the rest of this year.
