As cold weather settles in, we crave hot comfort food. If you have a crock pot (if you don\u2019t, you should invest in one), here\u2019s a really easy and great way to make lasagna.<\/p>\n

Crock Pot Lasagna<\/b><\/p>\n

Total time: 4 hours, 45 minutes<\/p>\n

Prep time: 45 minutes<\/p>\n

Cooking time: 4 hours<\/p>\n

Serves: 8<\/p>\n

Ingredients<\/p>\n

1 pound ground beef<\/p>\n

1 medium onion, chopped<\/p>\n

2 garlic cloves, minced<\/p>\n

1 can tomato sauce<\/p>\n

1 cup water<\/p>\n

1 small can tomato paste<\/p>\n

1 teaspoon salt<\/p>\n

1 teaspoon dried oregano<\/p>\n

8 ounces lasagna noodles, uncooked<\/p>\n

4 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded<\/p>\n

1 1\/2 cups small curd cottage cheese<\/p>\n

1\/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated<\/p>\n

Directions:<\/p>\n

1. Brown beef, add onion and garlic. Cook until onion is softened.<\/p>\n

2. Stir in tomato sauce, water, tomato paste, salt, and oregano. Mix well.<\/p>\n

3. Spread one fourth of the meat sauce in an un-greased slow cooker. Arrange one third of the noodles over the sauce.<\/p>\n

4. Combine the cheeses.<\/p>\n

5. Spoon one third of the cheese mixture over the noodles.<\/p>\n

6. Repeat layers twice.<\/p>\n

7. Top with remaining meat sauce.<\/p>\n
