The club will be handing out <i>Magic<\/i> starter decks to new members and everyone is welcome. Frost Fest is a music festival hosted by UVic students, with headliners such as Mat the Alien, Bear Mountain, and the Gay Nineties. Tickets are available at the UVSS info booth and are $20 for UVic students and $25 for the public. The show starts at 8 pm. Contact events@uvss.ca for more info.<\/p>\n<p>Saturday, January 24<br \/>\n<i>Beat-boxing monkey unicorn!<br \/>\n<\/i>For those who have always wanted to see a robot monkey crossed with a beat-boxing unicorn, it can be witnessed live at Lucky Bar. The Fungineers are self-proclaimed musical weirdoes who are dedicated to making life more fun through their music, clothing, toys, and videos. Contact Cheryl at 250-385-8990 for more information.<\/p>\n<p>Sunday, January 25<br \/>\n<i>Superheroes: Your chance to shine!<br \/>\n<\/i>Being a superhero is finally paying off: there\u2019s an interactive event at the Royal BC Museum called <i>Wonder Sunday: Superheroes Unite!<\/i> that gives people the chance to participate in a learning-based event and explore the Natural and Human History galleries while doing his\/her part to save the world. The event runs from 1\u20133 pm.<\/p>\n<p>Tuesday, January 27 to Sunday, March 1<br \/>\n<i>Worth the bill of this double bill<br \/>\n<\/i>Two one-act plays will be happening on one night at the Belfry Theatre. The two plays will be <i>The Best Brothers<\/i> and <i>How to Disappear Completely.<\/i> <i>The Best Brothers<\/i> is about a mother who suddenly dies at Toronto\u2019s Gay Days Parade, leaving her sons to deal with her assets. <i>How to Disappear Completely<\/i> is a tribute to the late mother of lighting-designer-turned-actor Itai Erdal. This night will include two hours of German music with the Edelweiss Harmony Choir, featured by the Greater Victoria Band at Victoria Edelweiss Club (108 Niagara Street). Admission is a $15 suggested donation and will go toward the Edelweiss Club\u2019s youth-music scholarship fund.
