Rachael Sage\u2019s Choreographic <\/i>is light and lofty and a welcome relief from the heavier sounds of today. Even if I put her lyrics aside, I have to say that Sage\u2019s voice carries an inextinguishable hope, a melting of snow, a loved one telling you it will be all right tomorrow.<\/p>\n

She makes good use of instruments, especially piano, which neither distract from nor shy behind Sage\u2019s gentle voice. The album has an overarching pop tone to it, but each song has a little something mixed in\u2014hints of rock, folk, and even country appear periodically.<\/p>\n

This very well could be the soundtrack to one of Disney\u2019s more modern princess films. Most of the songs definitely sound like they could be played as the protagonist of a movie is just getting out of the void and things are looking up.<\/p>\n

It will be exciting to see if Sage can carve out her own niche with this hopeful bid.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
