Edmonton\u2019s Consilience is the project of multi-instrumentalist Tasy Hudson, a solo musician with, among other instruments, a guitar, a synthesizer, and a loop pedal. On Under Our Bed<\/i> I can hear what Hudson is trying to get across with her soft tones and gentle melodies. The addition of instruments such as piano also helps the album\u2019s strong rhythm.<\/p>\n

Because Under Our Bed<\/i> is very soft, it\u2019s suitable to listen to in the evening; it\u2019s also helpful when people need to have a good rest. I listened to the album when I was tired; it helped to fully relax me.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, I cannot give it a full five-out-of-five mark. Although a soft voice can go a long way to make people sound mysterious, sometimes there are too many unanswered questions. For example, I don\u2019t think the album\u2019s title and songs feel connected.<\/p>\n
