Tackling issues like drug abuse, grieving, and ethics, the show\u2014which is centred on a suburban family dealing with mental illness\u2014brings rock songs to the table to help address these subjects. Written by 19th-century opera composer Giuseppe Verdi, this opera aims to showcase Boccanegra\u2019s more humane side.
