Guitarist\/vocalist Brenna Red\u2019s vocals are reminiscent of Joan Jett, and the bass and drums work well together.<\/p>\n<p>The lyrics contain all the typical punk themes that you\u2019d expect: they\u2019re anti-authority, pro-self-expression, pro-activism, and pro-feminism.<\/p>\n<p>Most songs on first pass felt familiar, as if I\u2019d heard them somewhere before. In subsequent listens, though, I began to appreciate some tracks for their own merits.<\/p>\n<p>The remainder, however, were forgettable.<\/p>\n<p>Sure, some of this is unoriginal and derivative, but that doesn\u2019t mean the songs are of poor quality.
