A panel discussion with the filmmaker and guests will follow the screening, which begins at 1:30 in Young 216 at the Lansdowne campus. See <a href=\"http:\/\/camosunstudent.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">camosunstudent.org<\/a> for more info.<\/p>\n<p>Thursday, November 8<br \/>\n<i>Meow-vie night<br \/>\n<\/i>Cat\u2019s Cradle Animal Rescue hopes to fill The Vic Theatre for a movie night and silent auction to raise funds to help rescue homeless animals in Victoria. The event will include a screening of <i>KEDI<\/i>, a documentary about cats in Istanbul. Doors open at 5 pm; there will be refreshments\u2014including alcohol\u2014available at the concession, and there will also be door prizes. Tickets are $30 and can be purchased at <a href=\"http:\/\/eventbrite.ca\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">eventbrite.ca<\/a>.
