SOON <\/em>is Rome post-hardcore band LAGS\u2019 second album. With a progressive style, SOON<\/em> proves that LAGS are definitely one of the main players in the Italian hardcore scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The album begins with powerful tracks like \u201cKnives and Wound\u201d and \u201cEchoes\u201d that combine indie, hard rock, and punk. \u201cShowdown\u201d takes listeners on a road trip by using a hard rock foundation perfect for a long drive. The album\u2019s later tracks have ripple transitions from powerful to melodic sounds. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

LAGS mix things up behind the mic, too: the album ends off with the track \u201cIl Podista,\u201d which is sung in Italian.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The music on SOON<\/em> is the result of some excellent work from the musicians in the band. The bass lines are executed very well, not being sunk down, and going well with the guitar lines. The lyrics consist of powerful messages and are screams for solutions for today\u2019s problems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although I\u2019m not even a fan of post-hardcore, I highly recommend this album.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
