Landreth. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\nalbum features guitar-driven power-trio sounds that blur the lines\nbetween modern blues rock and Landreth\u2019s folk\/blues roots.\n<em>Hindsight<\/em> is strong\nthrough the opening tracks: \u201cForgiveness\u201d and \u201cCryin\u2019,\u201d\nwith their grimy distorted guitars and soulful melodies, are\nreminiscent of Bahamas\u2019 early albums. The songs set the mood for\nthe lead single, \u201cWhere Did I Go Wrong.\u201d Some of the acoustic\ntracks, like \u2018Dangerous Heart\u201d and \u201cHindsight,\u201d showcase\nLandreth\u2019s versatility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Hindsight<\/em>\nhas everything\u2014great guitar work, soulful vocals, and great\nsongwriting\u2014yet somehow it doesn\u2019t work. The album starts out\nwell, building momentum as a blues-rock record, but the band may be\nbetter suited to a country audience.
