Texas-based death metal band Creeping Death just released their debut full-length album, Wretched Illusions<\/em>, after four years of releasing demos, EPs, and singles. \u201cHeavy,\u201d \u201cheadbanging,\u201d and \u201cbrutal\u201d are words to describe this album and this band.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The title track starts off the album on a really brutal tone. As the listener goes through Wretched Illusions<\/em>, the hellish world of death metal opens up. With the band using blast beats, fast guitar work, and intense vocals, listeners will feel like they are being blasted by a huge tornado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This album also shows that Creeping Death can handle some different styles, changing from furious, neck-breaking death\/thrash like old-school Sepultura to a much heavier death metal sound reminiscent of Bolt Thrower, which brings back the old-school death metal vibe Creeping Death does so well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I highly recommend this for those who love heavier music. Wretched Illusions<\/em> is one of the most promising death metal albums of 2019.
