DENM, an artist based out of Southern California best known for his 2016 hit \u201cLit,\u201d recently released his newest EP, Endless Summer<\/i>. This is DENM\u2019s third EP, taking influence from rock and reggae while occasionally tossing in a hip-hop beat or EDM bass line.<\/p>\n

The EP is a relatively short but pleasant listen, with tracks like \u201cMy Wave,\u201d \u201cBadfish,\u201d and \u201cFind Your Own\u201d exhibiting DENM\u2019s skill at combining elements of reggae lyrics, rock instrumentation, hip-hop beats, and occasional EDM sounds while exploring themes of finding your way in the world and going with the flow.<\/p>\n

However, the tracks in the middle of the EP do get pretty weak. The third song, \u201cBlow It Up,\u201d uses a poorly executed hook, while the fourth track, \u201cNo Break,\u201d is excellent until its ending, which is tonally inconsistent with the rest of the track.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
