You can tell people you got drunk with a wooly mammoth; what could be better than that? Happy hour runs from 5:30 pm to 7 pm, and tickets are $10; see <a href=\"http:\/\/royalbcmuseum.bc.ca\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">royalbcmuseum.bc.ca<\/a> for info.<\/p>\n<p>Saturday, January 11, 18, and 25<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\"><br \/>\n<\/span><i>Fill up on social justice<br \/>\n<\/i>Researchers from The Canadian Institute of Substance Use Research will be speaking at Sex, Drugs and Alcohol Use and Overuse, a three-part information session about people who are marginalized by sex, drugs, and alcohol addictions, and the government policies and laws that are involved. This should be an educational and worthy experience. The info session takes place at the University of Victoria from 10 am to 12 pm; tickets are $15. The place to trip is the Capital Ballroom, and tickets are $22. It\u2019s a nice way to start off the new year\u2014laughing so hard you\u2019re crossing your legs to keep the pee in.
