Langham Court Theatre is staging <i>I and You<\/i>, directed by John Han\u2014the play revolves around two teenagers, Caroline and Anthony, and their endearing road toward love through Walt Whitman\u2019s poetry. Now is the time to celebrate, as Craigdarroch Castle is putting on its version of Robert Louis Stevenson\u2019s classic 1883 novel <i>Treasure Island<\/i>, starring the original Jack Sparrow: Long John Silver. Tickets are $25, and the show starts at 6 pm on various dates between March 6 and March 14. It will feature student posters, information, and snacks in the Fisher foyer from 11 am to 1 pm, and there will also be student presentations in Fisher 100. For more information, contact Eva Silden at 250-370-3331.<\/p>\n<p>Saturday, March 7<br \/>\n<i>Be Quinlan about it<br \/>\n<\/i>Frances Quinlan has spent the last 10 years breaking out with an indie rock sound so unique and vivid she\u2019ll etch a notch in the soul of anyone who basks in her grace. She is performing at the Rubber Boot Club; guaranteed that if you aren\u2019t crying\u2014in a good way\u2014at the end of the show, you\u2019ll at the very least be inspired. Each speaker is bringing their own perspective about what can be done about climate change. The discussion is happening at St. Margaret\u2019s school, located at 1080 Lucas Avenue, from 1 pm to 3 pm. This breakfast event at Camosun will feature food, student speeches, and an elder\u2019s blessing. Tickets are available on a $5-to-$10 sliding scale at the Camosun bookstore; the event is happening at the Helmut Huber Cafeteria Annex on the Interurban campus from 7:45 am to 9 am.
