Please see the event websites for up-to-date info.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Thursday, march 19<br \/>\n<i>52 creative ways to say \u201cI quit\u201d<br \/>\n<\/i>The Camosun College Co-op Education and Career Services department is presenting a talk from Sean Aiken from 4:30 to 5:30 pm on the Social Stairs at the Alex and Jo Campbell Centre for Health and Wellness at Interurban. Aiken is behind the One-Week Job Project, where he spent a year documenting working a different job every week to try to figure out what to do with his life. The talk is free; see <a href=\"http:\/\/oneweekjob.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">oneweekjob.com<\/a> for more details on Aiken.<\/p>\n<p>Friday, March 20<br \/>\n<i>Hear me roar<br \/>\n<\/i>If you have an adoration for that amazing decade of intellectualism and great fashion which was nicknamed \u201cthe roaring \u201920s,\u201d this March may be the only time you ever get to experience it and support your college at the same time. Camosun College\u2019s Hospitality Management students are hosting The Roaring 20\u2019s Cocktail Party, which will raise money for the very worthy cause of campus childcare. So get your fedora, cigarette holder, and flapper dress out and join the party at the White Eagle Polish Hall, located at 90 Dock Street. You\u2019ll be met with other finely dressed folk, a large number of beverages from local distilleries, tasty appies, and a silent auction. The event runs from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm, and tickets are $65 in advance; see <a href=\"http:\/\/roaring20scocktailparty.eventbrite.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">roaring20scocktailparty.eventbrite.com<\/a> for info.<\/p>\n<p>Wednesday, March 25<br \/>\n<i>Make me disappear<br \/>\n<\/i>There is a certain magic in the air on this night, especially when it\u2019s The Masters of Illusion performing their incredible mind-bending masterpieces. This night of magic is the real thing, and it\u2019s happening at The Royal Theatre; doors open at 7 pm and the show starts at 8 pm. Since the early \u201980s, Ground Control have been paying tribute to Bowie, and they will be performing to impress at Alix Goolden Hall at 7 pm.
