It is doing this to support student loan borrowers during the COVID-19 pandemic. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.csnpe-nslsc.canada.ca\/en\/home\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The National Student Loans Service Centre websit<\/a>e says that this will take effect on March 30, pending Parliamentary approval.<\/p>\n<p>In other COVID-19-related news, Camosun College announced at 11:50 am today that student services on campus will be transitioning from face to face to online or other forms of delivery. According to Camosun&#8217;s site, this includes &#8220;admissions, registration, financial aid support, the Bookstore, academic support, co-op education and career services, counselling centre, the Centre for Acessible Learning, library services, ombudsperson and counselling.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The college says that the physical spaces associated with these services will be unavailable for students.<\/p>\n<p>Camosun previously announced it was cancelling all in-person classes, which will be delivered for the rest of the semester through alternative methods.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/camosun.ca\/news\/press-releases\/2020\/novel-coronavirus.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">See the college&#8217;s full statement here<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The federal government has announced that it will pause the repayment of Canada Student Loans until September 30, 2020, with no accrual of interest.
