Elements of late \u201960s Pink Floyd, Small Faces, and Grateful Dead are present throughout, but it\u2019s the fuzzed-out bass and Afrobeat rhythms that bring the sound together. \u201cPeople Talk Too Much\u201d (a great choice as the lead single) and \u201cThe Master\u201d seem destined for airplay.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"normal\"><span lang=\"EN\">Like their earlier releases, <i>The True Story of Bananagun<\/i> is heavily retro, but there is a rhythmic twist that makes Bananagun\u2019s sound original and separates them from the many paint-by-numbers psych-pop groups that have come and gone.
