The EP was recorded last winter and shows the band journeying deeper into late-\u201980s indie-pop.<\/p>\n<p>The five-song EP is very rhythmic and easy to listen to, but lacks a certain complexity that I want when listening to music. That said, <em>Brighter Then<\/em> is great for listening to while winding down before bed, during a chill study session, or as background music for a meditation. <em>Brighter Then<\/em> has very chill and calming vibes that evoke imagery of a sunrise over a sunflower field.<\/p>\n<p>With a slower tempo and minimal lyrics, the EP creates a certain serenity in the listener.
