Uncommon Weather<\/span><\/i> is <\/span>the third album from San Franscisco-based solo indie\/pop artist Glenn Donaldson, and <\/span>is meant to be a portrait of San Francisco. Donaldson\u2019s path to this release has several threads of inspiration, the most important of which is the artistic heritage of his musical predecessors.<\/span><\/div>\n

Preceding the release of Uncommon Weather <\/i>was the Reds, Pinks & Purples\u2019 second album, You Might Be Happy Someday<\/i>. Like that one, Donaldson self-recorded his new album.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

If you\u2019re looking for something that makes you feel like the protagonist in a coming-of-age movie, this is the soundtrack for you. The mellow beats would perfectly line up with a montage of different summer activities.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Uncommon Weather<\/span><\/i> has 13 songs that all have a very breezy walking-through-a-grass-field vibe. The easy listening of these songs is great for a long road trip or a late-night drive.
