According to a post on its site, Camosun College was notified on Wednesday, May 19 by Island Health about a COVID-19 exposure that occurred on Monday, May 17 at the college’s Interurban campus.<\/p>\n

The exposure was at the Alex and Jo Campbell Centre for Health and Wellness. Island Health has begun contact tracing to identify anyone who has what is considered a high-risk exposure, and those people will be contacted directly. Isolation is not required unless Island Health has identified anyone as having had high-risk exposure.<\/p>\n

The college has used a Clorox 360 disinfecting machine in the affected areas, “out of caution only,” according to their post.<\/p>\n

This is the second reported exposure at Camosun, with both taking place at Interurban. The first was last month<\/a>.<\/p>\n
