It\u2019s amazing how little recognition Headstones have received through decades of good music. Their debut Picture of Health<\/i> went platinum despite never charting. The band was left for dead and resurrected their career with 2013\u2019s crowdfunded Love + Fury<\/i>. Now, nearly 30 years in, the band has released their 10th album, Flight Risk<\/i>.<\/p>\n

Once again, the band blends driving guitar with punk rock danceability, a fuck-you attitude, and Hugh Dillon\u2019s unmistakeable voice, which, as anticipated, results in another great record. Coming in like a freight train, radio single \u201cEverything or Nothing\u201d sets the tone, while Dillon\u2019s storytelling mastery is demonstrated on \u201cTangled,\u201d and the album rounds out well, closing with the experimental \u201cRink.\u201d<\/p>\n
