However, back then, Camosun students paid twice as much as UVic students for parking because they had no parking-pass options. Now, our hourly rate for parking is cheaper but, let\u2019s be honest here, it\u2019s still a money grab.<\/p>\n<p><b>Lansdowne vs. Interurban: <\/b>This issue had an interesting look at Camosun\u2019s campuses: according to the writer, Interurban instructors stressed punctuality and there were mostly older students at that campus, while Lansdowne had more laid-back instructors and was full of directionless 20-year-olds. Very bold statements that, at least now, I don\u2019t agree with.<\/p>\n<p><b>Buy Nothing Day is coming:<\/b> An article in this issue reminds readers of an upcoming holiday that I think we all need to celebrate this year: Buy Nothing Day. This is a day to protest our high consumption of resources, and this year, Buy Nothing Day will be on Friday, November 25.
