Long-running California-based punk band NOFX is known for their addition of comedy to their songs and taking on controversial topics, but with Double Album<\/i>, a follow-up to 2021\u2019s Single Album<\/i>, the band brings in a large storytelling element, mixed with lessons drawn from the members\u2019 life experiences, letting the listeners know and relate to the musicians without any other context.<\/p>\n

The overall sound couldn\u2019t be considered original in this genre, but isn\u2019t lacking in the classic energetic tone and fast-paced guitar work accompanying the lyrics that one might expect from punk. And with NOFX\u2019s recent announcement of calling it a day after 40 years, this album is a solid way to go out.<\/p>\n
