We made it through another great year of movies. While 2022 delivered such stand-out gems as James Cameron\u2019s stunning Avatar: The Way of Water<\/i> and Joseph Kosinski\u2019s breathtaking Top Gun: Maverick<\/i>, this year promises even more amazement.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s a lot to be excited about, so let\u2019s get into it.<\/p>\n

6: Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey<\/i><\/p>\n

I know what you\u2019re thinking: why on Earth would this be on my list? The trailer makes this movie look like someone atom-bombed your childhood, the costumes look like the filmmakers raided a second-hand store, there\u2019s only a slight resemblance to the iconic characters, and the stylish look of the trailer, if you can call it that, looks like someone splattered ink on the screen. But that\u2019s exactly why it\u2019s on my list: this is going to be so hilariously bad that it\u2019s actually going to be worth seeing.<\/p>\n

5: John Wick: Chapter 4<\/i><\/p>\n

What I love about the John Wick<\/i> franchise is its consistency. The franchise has yet to release a movie that I didn\u2019t like. This makes me so excited for March, when Mr. Wick returns to the big screen. I mean, seeing Wick creatively kill a bunch of Russian mobsters alone has to be worth the price of admission.<\/p>\n

4: Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3<\/i>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The first two Guardians<\/i> movies, for me, are huge standout films in the Marvel Universe because both movies have a unique tone that utilizes classic musical choices and kick-ass action. I\u2019m happy to report that if the trailer is any indication, this movie is going to be everything you love about these movies, and more.<\/p>\n

3: Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny<\/i><\/p>\n

Look, Indiana\u00a0 <\/span>Jones is my childhood. Over the years, I\u2019ve collected all the movies, video games, and fedoras, and if my parents had let me, I would have gotten a whip. I mean, sure, Crystal Skull<\/i> had its problems, but for the most part these movies have been awesome, and they\u2019re going to have a huge influence on my future as a filmmaker. That\u2019s why I can\u2019t wait for the new movie. Also James Mangold of Logan<\/i> and Ford v Ferrari<\/i> fame is taking the helm; I really loved his work on those two films, so that\u2019s another great reason to be ramped up for this movie.<\/p>\n

2: Oppenheimer<\/i><\/p>\n

In Hollywood, there\u2019s a list of directors you should never doubt. Among the many famous faces of this list are James Cameron, Steven Spielberg, and, of course, Christopher Nolan. From its wowing trailer to its stacked cast, this movie looks like a stunning film portrait of the famous physicist.<\/p>\n

1: Dune: Part Two<\/i><\/p>\n

If there\u2019s one movie that I cannot wait for, it\u2019s this. Part one was extraordinary and, as I\u2019ve stated many times, I don\u2019t think that anyone can effectively capture Frank Herbert\u2019s work as well as Denis Villeneuve and crew did in that movie. Sure, the ending was a bit abrupt, but that just adds to my anticipation.<\/p>\n
