Spoor\u2014who was raised in Colorado\u2014shows the thematic context of folk\u2019s rural roots through the connectivity of her storytelling. The EP offers a developing new voice to the folk landscape.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Although Spoor\u2019s sound could be criticized as hokey and contrived, borrowing a little too much from Joni Mitchell, I feel her artistic voice remains powerful and relevant.
