The record leans heavily into jazz and rap, and is quite experimental. Miller\u2019s lyrics are reflective and tragic in retrospect. On \u201cManakins,\u201d Miller raps \u201cIt feels like I\u2019m dying\/I\u2019m dead,\u201d and \u201cWhy is heroism so close to heroin?\u201d The last song, \u201cTomorrow Will Never Know,\u201d is 12 minutes, and it\u2019s both calm and sad, which gives a sense of closure.<\/p>\n
