Here are the best albums to help you get through different stages of a breakup.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Right after a breakup:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019re still in that raw phase of the breakup when you might feel angry or resentful, there\u2019s no better album than Olivia Rodrigo\u2019s debut, <i>SOUR<\/i>. The album is unapologetically direct and it has hits like \u201cTraitor\u201d and \u201cGood 4 You\u201d that will help you scream your frustrations out.<\/p>\n<p>For something more reflective but just as emotional, you can listen to the ultimate breakup classic: Fleetwood Mac\u2019s <i>Rumours<\/i>. Great to disconnect from reality for 47 minutes.<\/p>\n<p><b>When you miss your ex:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Are you constantly checking your phone hoping it\u2019s them who messaged you? Listen to <i>Blue<\/i> by Joni Mitchell. There\u2019s nothing like this album to reflect on love lost. The album is personal, making you feel like Mitchell is narrating your own heartbreak.<\/p>\n<p>Similarly, <i>Blood on the Tracks<\/i> by Bob Dylan delivers vulnerable emotion with poetic storytelling. Songs like \u201cIf You See Her, Say Hello\u201d mirror perfectly the pain of love slipped away.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>For moving on (or longing):<\/b><\/p>\n<p>At some point, you\u2019ll decide to either move on or hold on to the past.<\/p>\n<p><i>All Things Must Pass<\/i> by George Harrison is the perfect album for grief. Written in the wake of The Beatles\u2019 breakup, the album reflects on loss, but remains hopeful of better things to come. It reminds you to cherish the moments behind you, and, as Liam Gallagher once sang, \u201cdon\u2019t look back in anger,\u201d rather learn from what\u2019s been lived.
