Well, at least we\u2019re always honest: <\/b>Time proved Tim Burton\u2019s A Nightmare Before Christmas<\/i> to be a classic, but in this issue we gave it a lukewarm review. Writer Shellene McConnell ended the review by saying that \u201ca thin story line and an abrupt ending leaves the viewer expecting more. If it\u2019s commercialism you want, this movie delivers.\u201d<\/p>\n
Speaking up, and out: <\/b>In our Speak Up column, we asked, \u201cWhy do you think youth violence is a problem?\u201d The answers were shockingly candid, if not perhaps a bit ill advised. One student said that \u201c\u00c9 in North America we don\u2019t have any morals or ethics like other cultures do.\u201d Another said that youth violence wasn\u2019t a problem here like it was in the US, where they had, he said, \u201c\u00c9 guns, grenades, and rocket launchers.
