Program instructors will be available to explain what courses are taken, what prerequisites are required, costs, and what career opportunities will be available after graduation. Check out <a href=\"http:\/\/camosun.ca\/learn\/infosessions\" target=\"_blank\">camosun.ca\/learn\/infosessions<\/a> for more info.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Saturday, October 22<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Solar Saturday<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The John Drysdale building at Camosun\u2019s Interurban campus will play host to a full-day exposition of renewable energy resources. Industry experts will lead workshops in everything from residential geothermal systems, to solar power, to solar water heating and wind energy. Local sustainability author and activist Guy Dauncey and David Egles, president and founder of Home Energy Solutions Ltd., will provide opening and closing keynotes. Admission is free, but registration is required at <a href=\"http:\/\/camosun.ca\/ce\" target=\"_blank\">camosun.ca\/ce<\/a> or by calling 250\u2013370\u20133550.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tuesday, October 25<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Picture if you will\u2026 improv!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Dave Morris, Boombox Improv, and Aidan Snider invite participants to come and explore a dimension beyond that which is known to man, the \u201cdimension of imagination,\u201d also known more simply as improv. On October 25 at 7:30 pm the doors to the Fort Caf\u00e9 (742 Fort St.) will open, and just $8 ($5 for students) will get you in to see a Halloween-themed night of improv with \u201cpick of the fringe\u201d winner Dave Morris, Canadian Improv Games alumni Boombox Improv, and folk-rocker Aidan Snider.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Thursday, November 3<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Bipolar Babe<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Bipolar Babe is a stigma-fighting superhero. Bipolar Babe is also an insightful look into one person\u2019s unique experiences of mental illness through a live presentation. It takes place from 12\u20131 pm in Young 310, Lansdowne. The checkups will be taking place on the main floor of the Camosun library at Lansdowne.
