Mauka<\/i> is the latest EP release from Vogue Dots, a dream pop duo hailing from New Brunswick.<\/p>\n

Right from the start, I found myself being consumed with this release.<\/p>\n

\u201cWay with Silence,\u201d the first track from the record, sounds like drowning in electronic bliss.\u00a0 It\u2019s a really great track, and I just couldn\u2019t help but play it over and over again.<\/p>\n

Singer Babette Hayward\u2019s voice seems to float effortlessly over the sea of synths that fill up each song.<\/p>\n

The rest of the cuts on this four-song EP get more experimental but never breach on the inaccessible. Where this record really captivates isn\u2019t in the lyrics; it\u2019s in the ambience.<\/p>\n
