Gabrielle Bernstein may cause miracles

Depending on who you ask, she’s now a messenger, translator, and spiritual leader. Some even call her a spiritual lexicon. But, like most leaders, it took a hard journey for her to get here.

Gabreille Bernstein spent her early twenties partying at New York nightclubs and quickly fell into the lifestyle of living fast-paced and being addicted to drugs, alcohol, food, and relationships.

Bernstein’s life soon spiraled out of control to the point where she felt lost and had no other hope but praying for miracles.

“On October 2, 2005, after praying lots, a very authoritative and inner voice from inside told me to get clean and change my life,” says Bernstein. “I listened to that inner voice from that point on and decided to change my life for the better.”

Bernstein got sober, reclaimed the spiritual faith that she was brought up on, and became a metaphysical student of The Course of Miracles, which eventually blossomed into the career she has today.

“Within a year of reclaiming my life I starting giving feedback and shared my experiences publicly,” says Bernstein. “I had previously spoken publicly to universities and started speaking this message, which eventually grew into a career.”

Bernstein started her career in a time when social media hadn’t quite taken off yet, so through public speaking she went from 40 followers, to 100, to 200, to 1,000, and has continued to grow rapidly since then.

“I use metaphysics and creating your own destiny as my main message,” says Bernstein. “Some of my most grateful moments of my career have been helping people overcome drug addiction, releasing decade-long resentments, walking away from relationships that they previously weren’t able to overcome, but the most important thing is that they start to perceive their lives differently and make changes to help them.”

Bernstein loves helping people establish their own practices and says being able to live her purpose by spreading that message is the greatest gift she has received.

“The first step into your spirituality is to become willing. People need to be ready to experience more than they’ve ever seen and that willingness will lead them to doing great things,” says Bernstein. “The first step to embarking on your spiritual path is to just become willing.”

Bernstein’s most recent book, May Cause Miracles, emphasizes the principles of forgiveness, gratitude, and witnessing yourself without judgement. These subtle shifts are a guidebook to help people have the tools to take the next right actions to follow their spiritual path.

“When we have a message to carry and fulfill it in an authentic way, it’s the greatest gift we can give ourselves. I express what I do with authenticity and that’s what people tap in to,” says Bernstein.

Bernstein intends to further her life path and career by continuing to write, as well as develop as a life leader.

“I recently became an Kundalini yoga instructor and plan to use those meditations in my practice,” says Bernstein. “I also would love to one day be an expert guest on a talk show, or maybe one day have my own talk show.”
