Noah Wall’s soundtrack for the documentary Print the Legend blends instrumentals with dream-like technological sounds. The songs, which aren’t longer than a minute or two, are mesmerizing.

I listened to the album without any knowledge of the manufacturing and industrial elements of the film, and I was still able to get the sense that these sounds were the language of machines.

Wall has created music that brings you into another worldŃa somewhat alien worldŃof blended mechanical sounds and instrumentals transformed into beauty.

After watching the film, and experiencing Wall’s music within context, it is given life. The songs perfectly highlight the experiences of the entrepreneurs exploring the potential for 3D printers.

The fantastical, poetic tunes mimic the ambition and hope the developers have, and their dreams about what groundbreaking technology could mean for civilization in the future.
